The U.S. Government is seeking vendor responses to a sources sought notice to determine if a competitive procurement is possible, although it currently intends to award a sole source contract for Emergency Breathing Systems, air compressors, refill stations, and repair toolkits. The proposed sole source vendor is Aerial Machine and Tool Corporation, and the equipment is required for aircrew overwater missions in accordance with AR 95-1. Interested businesses are encouraged to provide information on competition barriers, company details, interest in competing, capability and experience, and commerciality. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote and no proposals will be accepted at this time. If a competitive solicitation is issued, it will be posted on SAM.gov for interested parties to monitor.
