This requirement is for the pickup and disposal of caprine after Live Tissue Training (LTT) events. Disposal must occur IAW with all state and federal regulations and prevent consumption of carcasses by any person or wildlife. In accordance with the Colorado Solid Waste Act (30-20-100.5 et. seq., C.R.S.),and its implementing regulation 6 CCR 1007-2, along with the Group Surgeon’s direction to not utilize landfill disposal due to possible public exposure, incineration of the caprine is required.
