The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Carson, Colorado intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with B W Electric Inc. doing business as B W Systems, 4305 Northpark Dr., Colorado Springs, CO, 80907 for the purchase of Close Captioned TV (CCTV) service (camera upgrades and maintenance) for the Medical Activity (MEDDAC) Soldier Recovery Unit / Warrior Transition Battalion (SRU / WTB) at Fort Carson, Colorado. BW Systems installed both the CCTV and the Duress system during the construction of buildings in 2012. BW Systems has maintained and supported these systems since installation and has a unique knowledge of the system configurations and patches throughout the MEDDAC network and Lenel Keyless Access Control System. The two systems are linked / tied to the system at Evans Army Community Hospital which BW Systems already provides maintenance for. Furthermore, BW Systems has the required master certified technician with a Fort Carson Account which would be required for the work outlined in the contract request. This is sole source procurement using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The statutory authority for the sole source procurement is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 12:00 pm (MST) May 14, 2021. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed below. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation with B W Electric Inc. doing business as B W Systems. Responses are due by 12:00 pm (MST) May 14, 2021.
