Directorate of Public Works (DPW) has a reoccurring need for animal control services to pick up, provide shelter, sustenance and final disposition for domestic animals. Intake involves completing accountability paperwork, taking a picture of the animal for inclusion on a contractor maintained website, scanning it for a microchip, boarding the pet (which includes feeding and housing the animal for up to five days) and then contacting adoption agencies as appropriate. Euthanization and disposal involves providing final disposition of the animal. Collection and transportation requires the contractor to drive onto Fort Carson to pick up an animal that is already confined. Contract Manpower Reporting (CMR) involves the reporting of manpower and subcontractor manpower requirements associated with the performance of the contract. Reporting requirements involves the completion of an annual survey through the CMR website.
