THIS NOTICE WILL BE POSTED WITHIN 15 DAYS AT THE GOVERNMENT POINT OF ENTRY AND SUBJECT TO EXTENSION PRIOR TO THE RELEASE OF THE INVITATION FOR BID. This announcement is not an Invitation For Bid (IFB), but instead a Presolicitation Notice to industry to serve as notification of a pending IFB release of the Fort Riley Physical Readiness Instructor IFB. Upon release of the IFB, a bid from industry will be requested from interested and qualified bidders. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this PRESOLICITATION announcement or any follow-up information requests to include the full IFB once issued. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bid and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than noted above. The First Infantry Division, Fort Riley, KS is seeking a Small Business Administration (SBA) Total Small Business with the experience, personnel, and capability to perform Physical Readiness Training Instruction at Fort Riley, KS. The responsible contractor is responsible for furnishing all management, labor, equipment, materials and transportation necessary to perform Physical Readiness Training at Fort Riley, KS in support of various military units undergoing pre-deployment training. It is expected that all aspects of the training will exist in a dynamic, evolutionary, and adaptive environment. Contractor's continuous improvement of (or additions to) the processes, contents, and tasks is expected, so as to increase the overall effectiveness of the project. The performance goal is effective, efficient, fast reacting, and flexible training that meets the Government's needs as those needs develop over the life of this basic contract. The awarded under this contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 611999 (All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction), with a corresponding Small Business Size Standard of $11.0 million. The proposed contract will be for one base year with 3 one-year renewable options, resulting in the contract performance period of a maximum of 4 years. Interested sources should be advised that while a full solicitation is expected to release within the next 15 days to industry, the Government reserves the right to extend this posting. No visits with industry will be permitted with any Fort Riley personnel in response to this anticipated Invitation for Bid. No Site Visit is anticipated at this time.
