Red River Army Depot (RRAD), Texarkana, TX, intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price contract for Anti-Lock Brake System with Electronic Stability Control (ABS/ESC) Retrofit Kit Part Number Y000868_11000 and Y000868_11400 for the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) to Ricardo Defense Inc. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this action is Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This requirement will be procured on a sole source basis. The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation on or around 2 November 2020 and Awarding the contract on or around 16 November 2020. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
