Red River Army Depot has a requirement for the purchase and turn-key installation of one (1) each Rottler model H85AX (or equal) Computer Numeric Control (CNC) automatic vertical engine block honing machine with hole-to-hole automation and accessories. The machine shall be capable of performing automated cylinder honing operations to both in-line and V block engine blocks to include Caterpillar (C7) and GM 6.5 liter. The vendor shall supply tooling and accessories to allow honing of engine blocks in accordance with the specifications outlined in the purchase description*. The vendor shall provide off-loading, unpacking, setup, and connection to all utilities at the installation location. Utilities will be provided within twenty (20) feet of the installation location. At the completion of equipment installation, the vendor shall provide on-site operator training at RRAD. *Refer to the Purchase Description dated 13FEB2020 incorporated in the solicitation for further details.

Provide all required accessories to facilitate honing of in-line and V block engine blocks to include Caterpillar (C7) and GM 6.5 liter. Provide on-site training as detailed in the Purchase Description. Equipment and accessories provided shall meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in the Purchase Description. ***Purchase Description will be provided when the solicitation is issued*** The government anticipates the award of a firm fixed-price contract with delivery beginning 120 days after award. The FOB Point is Red River Army Depot (Destination). Solicitation will issue on or about 20 FEB 2020 on beta.SAM.gov. This synopsis shall not bind the Government and is for informational purposes only. This is expected to be a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 333517. The small business size standard is 500 employees. All offerors shall be required to submit proposals using the Standard Form 1449 and in accordance with the instructions in the solicitation.
