Red River Army Depot (RRAD), Texarkana, TX, intends to award a single source commercial purchase order for replacement parts specifically made for E-One firetrucks assigned to various Defense agencies. Negotiations to be conducted solely with E-One Inc. as the only company currently providing OEM parts by Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR Sub-Part 13.501(a) "Sole Source". This requirement will be procured on a sole source basis, solicitation W911RQ19R0008 will be released on or about 21 March 2019 and close on or about 31 March 2019. The FOB Point is Red River Army Depot (Destination). The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. This synopsis shall not bind the Government and is for informational purposes only.
