Red River Army Depot (RRAD), Texarkana, TX, intends to award a single source commercial purchase order for Yearly Calibration Service for Tensile Test Stands. Negotiations to be conducted solely with Illinois Tool Works Inc. as the only company with the proprietary data rights capable of performing the required service. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR Sub-Part 13.501(a) "Sole Source". This requirement will be procured on a single source basis, solicitation W911RQ-19-R-0022 will be released on or about 12 August 2019 and close on or about 16 August 2019. The FOB Point is Red River Army Depot (Destination). The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. This synopsis shall not bind the Government and is for informational purposes only.
