This procurement is for the production of the Hybrid Summer Flyer’s Glove (HSFG) that meets the Uniform Integrated Protection Ensemble Family of Systems (UIPE FoS) Gloves Aviation Glove Light (AGL) requirement to provide required chemical protection, as well as improved touch screen compatibility, tactility, durability, and dexterity in realistic representative environments when compared to the current fielded gloves. The HSFG is a highly specialized CBRN protection aviation glove that allows for the user’s increased reliance on touchscreens (both resistive and capacitive) in the field, and particularly in aircraft, while maintaining interoperability with all types of controls, interactive screens, buttons, and instrumentation that wearers still need to effectively operate in CBRN protective gear.
