Biological Containment Isolation System (BCIS)
The U.S. Army seeks prototype solutions for a modular, field-installable kit to convert the existing USAF TMT60 tent into a negative-pressure, multi-patient isolation system for managing High Consequence Infectious Diseases. The system must achieve a negative pressure differential of -2.5 Pa, at least 12 air changes per hour, and 99.97% filtration efficiency for 0.3-micron particles. An on-site equipment viewing of the TMT60 shelter is scheduled for June 30, 2026, at Fort Detrick, MD, with access restricted to U.S. Citizens only. The acquisition uses a two-step process, beginning with a Solution Brief package due by June 23, 2026, which must include a Rough Order of Magnitude cost estimate. No budget amount is specified, and the performance location is Fort Detrick, Maryland.
