DEVCOM-SC is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) on technologies or capabilities to sequence genomic DNA of probiotic bacteria and perform custom analysis on mutations, SNPs and protein mutation analysis. The range of protein analysis includes 1.gDNA analysis to identify mutated proteins. Provide protein list with mutations, and classification of mutations (missense, stop codons, et al.) and 2. Protein mutation analysis to understand protein structural changes using Colabfold and/or Alphafold or similar program. Analyze overall conformational changes potentially effected by mutations. Specific Specifications: • Library preparation and Genomic DNA sequencing of probiotic bacteria with sufficient coverage. • Custom genomic DNA sequencing data analysis including mutations, single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and protein mutation analysis. This Sources Sought Announcement is issued solely for information and planning purposes and to identify interested sources. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. This Sources Sought does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.
