The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division on behalf of Product Manager Force Sustainment Systems (PM FSS), located at the Natick Soldier Systems Center intends to issue a contract for a fiber optic line run to the Future Capabilities Integration Laboratory (FCIL) at Fort Devens, Massachusetts and provide service with a minimum download and upload speed of 200 Mbps. The period of performance will be a base year with four – one-year option periods for a total of five years. The FCIL requires high speed download and upload speeds to provide live 4K video feeds, conducted during evaluations at a minimum of 200 Mbps for both upload and download at a newly constructed big top container evaluation facility. This type of connection requires a fiber optic line to be run to the FCIL, as available coaxial cables do not provide the required upload speeds needed to operate the facility. A fiber optic line needs to be run from the outside of the installation fence near the FCIL to the facility to provide the required connection speeds for both upload and download and then activated for use at the facility.
