The government is soliciting for a single award IDIQ contract providing Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems equipment training and repair operations management in support of the Soldier Unmanned Aircraft Systems Rucksack Portable Unmanned Aircraft System (RPUAS) and Ground Control Station (GCS) in Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside of Continental United States (OCONUS), and their domestic and foreign customers, as allocated by individual Task Orders (TOs). The Soldier Unmanned Aircraft Systems Team, a division of the Product Manager Soldier Unmanned Aircraft Systems (PdM SUAS), manages RPUAS.

The Army Contracting Command (ACC), Aberdeen Proving Ground, (APG), Natick Contracting Division (NCD) on behalf of the Program Executive Office for Aviation (PEO-AVN), Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) intends to release a solicitation to procure, on a competitive, Total Small Business Set-Aside basis, Logistics (Training and Repair) Services to support its Group 1 UAS fleet. The Government anticipates this solicitation will result in the award of a Single Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (SAIDIQ) contract. The IDIQ contract will contain two CLIN Types, Firm-Fixed Price CLINs with a COST Type for Travel and ODCs. The overall ceiling of the effort is $49.5M, which consists of 1 base ordering period of 12 months, and 4 optional ordering periods of 12 months each, and a 6 month extension under FAR Clause 52.217-8. It is anticipated that the task orders issued under the base IDIQ contract may be extended for an additional 12 months period of performance beyond the base IDIQ ordering periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code that applies to this effort is: 488190 - Other Support Activities for Air Transportation with a Small Business Size Standard of $35.0M. The Government currently estimates that the Request for Proposals (RFP) will be released on or about 27 January 2020, and proposals will be due 30 days after the RFP is released.
