The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division (ACC-APG-NCD), has a requirement on behalf of Product Manager - Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PM-SCIE). This acquisition is for the MC-6 Personnel Parachute System, part of the Advanced Tactical Parachute System (ATPS), to be used for mass tactical static line airdrop operations. This is a Qualified Products List (QPL) item, in accordance with FAR Subpart 9.2. Offerors must be qualified on the associated QPL per MIL-DTL-6645J at the time of contract award. A Government owned Technical Data Package (TDP) will be utilized in the manufacturing of this system. The NAICS code for this requirement is 314999. This acquisition will be conducted as a full and open solicitation, with an anticipated Request for Proposal (RFP) release date to beta.sam.gov of 06 January 2020.
