This pre-solicitation was posted on 17 June 2019 titled "MC-6 Personnel Parachute System" under the incorrect Notice Type of "Sources Sought." The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division (ACC-APG-NCD), has a requirement on behalf of Product Manager - Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PM-SCIE). This acquisition is for the MC-6, part of the Advanced Tactical Parachute System (ATPS). This is a Qualified Products List (QPL) item, in accordance with FAR Subpart 9.2. Offerors must be qualified on the associated QPL at the time of contract award. A Government owned Technical Data Package (TDP) will be utilized in the manufacturing of this system. The NAICS code for this requirement is 314999. This acquisition will be conducted as a full and open solicitation. The anticipated Request for Proposal (RFP) is for a firm-fixed-price requirements contract with an estimated quantity of 2,500 MC-6 systems based on available funds, with an expected release date to FedBizOps of approximately 1 July 2019.
