The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source based on compatibility requirements, proprietary issues, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certifications. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Vieletech, Inc. located at 913 Splendor Pt., Florissant, CO 80816, CC: 7VWH4, for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for continuous software support services for laboratory Data Acquisition and Control (DAC) systems. The proposed ordering period for this IDIQ contract will be for five (5) years which Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type delivery/task orders (TO) will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Requirement: The objective of this contract is to provide OEM services for Government-owned Data Acquisition and Control (DAC) systems in order to meet mission and Template last updated 3/2/2015 customer requirements to derive data to be shared, allowing for an efficient and effective experimental environment, data processing and analysis. Currently, there are a total of eight (8) DAC systems (W911QX-21-P-0199, W911QX20P0143, W911QX-21-P-0126, W911QX-22-P-0065, W911QX-20-P- 0168, W911QX-22-P-0129, W911QX-21-C-0049) operating in a variety of different laboratories for the operation of drastically different equipment (Engines, electric machines, transmissions, material testing, bearings, etc.), that were procured from Vieletech Inc. Vieletech Inc., is the only source that can provide the necessary software support for their DAC systems and perform the required updates to handle new experimental articles and properly conduct research in the aforementioned laboratories.
