The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The required cameras must have a horizontal resolution of 1280 pixels and vertical resolution of 800 pixels for a combined total of one (1) million pixels. Must also have recording rate of 75,000 frames per second (fps) and a maximum weight of 20 pounds and a front profile of no more than nine inches by seven-point-five inches (9”x7.5”). The Government intends to solicit to negotiate with Vision Research, Inc. located at 100 Dey Road, Wayne, New Jersey, 07470-4633, United States, for two (2) Phantom TMX-7510 high speed digital cameras. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to use Part 12 for this acquisition.
