The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements base on Photron USA, Inc being the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the required Photron camera model. Additionally, the required laser illumination system must be compatible with the camera model to obtain high quality images. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Tech Imaging Services, Inc, 428 Lincoln Avenue, Saugus, MA 01906, Unique Entity ID: YJFEAFMKPAJ6 CAGE Code: 1YYB7 for the following supply requirement: Two (2) brand-name Photron Nova S16 high speed digital cameras (Part # NOVA-S16-32M). Two (2) brand-name Cavitar Cavilux Smart Ultra-High Speed (UHS) laser illumination systems (Part # A012). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
