The Government requires covered shelter platforms to replace the current scaffold-type platforms at the EOVAF laser range. The scope of this project is to gain elevation for laser testing purposes without the need to construct permanent structures at six (6) different locations on the range. The EOVAF team requires six (6) hunting blind-type, non-permanent (not requiring a concrete foundation), elevated shelters, with staircase access and weather-sealed enclosure. The Government’s minimum requirements are below: • Platform Height: 10 feet elevation, above ground. • Size of container: 6x8 feet in interior area (or larger). • Container material: Hard sided (plastic, wood, metal, etc.). • Platform Access: Staircase (ladder access is not acceptable). • Tie-down: Way of anchoring to the ground. • Protection from elements: Weather sealed. • Windows: Yes, must open. • Door: Yes, padlock lockable.
