This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. INTENT TO SOLICIT ONLY ONE SOURCE The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The name of the company the Government intends to award a contract to is Mechanical Simulation Corporation, 755 Phoenix Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48108, CAGE: 1KDD6. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation (ii) The solicitation number is W911QX24Q0054. This acquisition is issued as an Request For Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-02, effective 22 December 2024. (iv) The associated NAICS code is 513210. The small business size standard is $47,000,000.00 (v) The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): CLIN 0001 (Base Effort): Qty one (1) year maintenance and technical support license and four (4) months of back support for the following DEVCOM DAC simulation perpetual licenses: Two (2) TruckSim Network licenses – License # 14426 and 15248 One (1) SuspensionSim Network license – License # 17197 CLIN 0002 (Option Effort): Qty one (1) year maintenance and technical support license for perpetual license numbers 14426, 15248, and 17197. CLIN 0003 (Option Effort): Qty one (1) year maintenance and technical support license for perpetual license numbers 14426, 15248, and 17197. (vi) Description of requirements: See above (vii) Delivery is required by 29 February 2024. Delivery shall be made electronc or to Logistics Warehouse, Building 321, 6375 Johnson Road, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, United States. Acceptance shall be performed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. The FOB point is Destination. Note: there will be no physical delivery of items as these are software licenses.
