The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements” based on Experimental Continuity: The item(s) must be consistent with prior materials to ensure experimental continuity. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Nyobolt, Inc. at 200 West Street, Waltham, MA 02451-1121, for the acquisition of Fifteen (15) Fast Charge Li-ion cells at two-point eight Amp hours (2.8 Ah) with option for 50 multilayer pouch cells at six (6) Ah. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to use Part 12 for this acquisition. Responses to this notice are due on or before 3:00 pm eastern standard time 28 March 2023.
