This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. INTENT TO SOLICIT ONLY ONE SOURCE The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The name of the company the Government intends to award a contract to is Montana Instruments, Inc., 101 Evergreen Drive, Bozeman, MT, 59715-2400 (CAGE Code: 6FP84). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation. (ii) The solicitation number is W911QX22Q0058. This acquisition is issued as request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04 issued on 30 January 2022. (v) The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): CLIN 0001: Quantity one (1) Montana Instruments CryoCore Closed-Cycle Cryostat (Part Number 4134-5000-N) (vi) Description of requirements: The Government requires one (1) Montana Instruments CryoCore Closed-Cycle Cryostat (Part Number 4134-5000-N) for quantum-optical and direct current (DC) and radio frequency (RF) electronic measurements from five (5) to 300 Kelvin (K). The cryostat must be compatible with existing Montana Instruments Cryostations. (vii) Delivery is required no later than 14 weeks after receipt of order (ARO). Delivery shall be made to 2800 Powder Mill Rd, Building #102, Receiving Room, Adelphi, MD 20783. Acceptance shall be performed at 2800 Powder Mill Rd, Adelphi, MD 20783. The FOB point is Destination.
