Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section 11B. Note that the specific requirements in section C are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation. B. The Contractor shall provide one (1) fiber optic based analog signal transmission system for high voltage isolation, in accordance with the below minimum specifications: • Shall have four (4) transmitting/receiving channels. • The four (4) transmitters shall be electrically isolated from each other. • The transmitters shall be battery operated with a minimum eight (8) hour run time. • Shall have a frequency response of direct current (DC) to 2.5MHz (-3dB). • The system shall be able to transmit over a minimum of one (1) kilometer (km) of fiber optic cable. • The transmission shall use a minimum 14 bit Analog/Digital converters. • The transmitter operating temperature shall be -15 degree centigrade to 50 degree centigrade. • The transmitters, and battery packs shall be shielded to block radiated electromagnetic interference. • The transmitters shall be ruggedized for use in ballistic environments, with steel and non ventilated cases. • The transmitters shall have an input voltage of +/- 10 Volts. • The receivers shall have an output voltage of +/- 10 Volts. • Shall have Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) input/output connectors. • Shall have a Transmitter Input impedance of one (1) Megaohm. • Shall have a Receiver Output impedance of 50 ohm. • Shall contain a battery charging system that is capable of recharging all four (4) drained transmitter batteries in less than eight (8) hours. • The receivers shall be mounted in a single 19" wide rackmount case. • Shall contain quantity four (4) fiber optic cables of the following lengths: one (1) meter, ten (10) meters, and 25 meters. • The receiver and charging systems shall operate on 120 volts of alternating current (VAC) power.
