Description: The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements based on based on the contractor's ability to continue day to day performance without any delays. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Stephenson Equipment, Inc. (SEI), 7201 Paxton Street, Harrisburg, PA, 17111, for a performance period of six (6) months for mobile and stationary equipment preventive maintenance, inspections and repair services. The period of performance is 01 October 2019 through 31 March 2020. This six (6) month extension will allow for the development and preparation of a new acquisition strategy and subsequent new award for these subject services. Any responsible offeror that responds by the closing time and date of this notice will be utilized as market research for the new award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
