The Government intends to release a solicitation for the fabrication of quantity 100 aluminum 120-millimeter (mm) sabots in accordance with the attached Requirements Document.

The Government requires the fabrication of aluminum sabots, in accordance with the below minimum specifications: 1. The Government requires the fabrication of aluminum sabots, in accordance with the below minimum specifications: 1. The Contractor shall fabricate quantity (qty) 100 aluminum 120-milimeter (mm) sabots per the specifications provided by the Government in drawing #28084184. The Contractor shall use 7075-T6 aluminum in either a three (3)-petal or four (4)-petal configuration. Each sabot set shall assemble around the penetrator in accordance with (IAW) drawing Attachment 1 - #ARL?TF?20240701 as detailed in drawing Attachment – 2 - #ARL?TF?20240801 provided by the Government. 2. The Contractor shall deliver the first lot of qty 20 no later than 60 days after contract award. The Government will perform an inspection at Contractors facility to determine proper fit with the penetrator IAW drawing Attachment 1 - #ARL?TF?20240701 as detailed in drawing Attachment 2 - #ARL?TF?20240801 prior to delivery. The Government will furnish solid models to the Contractor, via solidworks files or a neutral format file, in addition to penetrators for inspection. 3. The remaining qty of 80 shall be delivered no later than 120 after contract award. Multiple lot delivery is acceptable. 4. An inspection report shall be included with each delivery. 5. Shipping and handling to Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD 21005 shall be included.
