The Contractor shall provide The Advanced Laser Source Development Team at the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) with quantity 12 (Twelve) 45-degree Dichroic Mirrors for use in kilowatt (kW)-class laser and quantity 12 (Twelve) 45-degree Turning Mirrors for use in kW-class laser with the following specifications: Twelve 45-degree Dichroic Mirrors for use in kW-class laser: The dichroic mirror must handle at least 2 (two) kW of average power. The mirror shall have an anti-reflection coating on one surface to minimize light loss, and a high-reflectivity coating on the other surface to reflect the laser at a specific wavelength. This mirror shall adhere to tight tolerances for dimensions and surface properties, ensuring minimal imperfections and high accuracy. The Following are the minimum requirements requested by the Government: Material: Fused silica Type: Plane mirror, separator Diameter: 50.0 millimeters (mm) (tolerance: greater than -0.1 mm to less than or equal to 0) Thickness: 9.5 mm (tolerance: greater than -0.1 mm to less than +0.1 mm) Angular Deviation: Less than 5 (five) minutes of arc Surface 1 (S1) Specifications: Surface Quality: Scratch/Dig: 3/1 (0.2) Flatness: Wavelength of Light (L)/10 regularity (within 1/10 of the wavelength of light) Surface Roughness: 5/4 x 0.063; L3 x 0.004 Anti-Reflection Coating: Angle of Incidence: 45 degrees (°) Wavelength Range: 1120-1150 nanometer (nm) Reflectance: < 0.6% Surface 2 (S2) Specifications: Surface Quality: Scratch/Dig: 3/1 (0.2) Flatness: L/10 regularity (within 1/10 of the wavelength of light) Surface Roughness: 5/4 x 0.063; L3 x 0.004 High Reflectivity Coating: Angle of Incidence: 45° Wavelength: 1070 nm Reflectance: > 99.5% Reflectance (Ru): Angle of Incidence: 45° Wavelength: 1120 nm Reflectance: < 5% 2. Twelve 45-degree Turning Mirrors for use in kW-class laser: Mirror shall be plane, with a commercial polish on one side and a high-reflectivity coating on the other. Mirror shall be capable of reflecting the laser at wavelengths between 1030 and 1064 nm with an efficiency greater than 99.95%.
