Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section 11B. Note that the specific requirements in section B are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation. B. The Government requires Comprehensive Laser Design and Modelling Software. The Government requires that the comprehensive laser design and modelling software have advanced physical models for doped fiber and undoped fiber, allowing exploration of Stimulated Raman Scattering (“SRS”), Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (“SBS”), Kerr nonlinearities, chromatic dispersion, doping concentrations and profiles, directional or bi-directional pumping strategies, and different pump wavelengths to optimize the design of fiber amplifiers or fiber lasers.
