The Government requires one (1) polymer processing equipment with the following minimum specifications: A mobile system for the drying of polymer pellets prior to processing. The system shall be comprised of a cart mounted hopper dryer with a rotary desiccant which can operate in a continuous or batch-wise fashion. It shall offer a drying capacity of roughly 15-20 pounds (lb.)/ hour (hr.) with a 2 cubic ft hopper volume. It shall come equipped with a hopper loader, allowing it to load itself on-demand from a bag or drum of polymer pellets The equipment shall run on 460V 3-phase electrical supply. It shall include a drying monitor capable of monitoring and controlling dewpoint. The heat exchanger shall be air-to-air. A mobile system for the drying of polymer pellets prior to processing. The system shall contain the same criteria as the above, except it shall offer a drying capacity of roughly 25-30lb/hr. with a 3 cubic ft hopper. An oil heating and circulation system, capable of maintaining oil temperature from 70-500Fahrenheit (21.1-260Celcius) and delivering >10Liters/minute flow rate. The unit shall have an air-cooled seal cavity requiring no cooling water for operation. It shall have a digital interface for controlling setpoint. It shall run on 460V 3-phase electrical supply. A screenless mobile granulator for the grinding of injection molding byproducts (sprues, runners, etc.) or reject parts. It shall be capable of throughputs in the range of 20lb/hour with an opening of 10” width by 10” height plus or minus 2”. It shall have a motor delivering 3 plus or minus 0.5 horsepower with a cutter size of 5” to 6”. It shall have a multi-tooth rotor comprised of D2 teeth and cutting wheel. It shall be able to interface with a take-off, by either vacuum or compressed air, to unload directly to a bag or drum. C. Responses: All interested parties should notify this office in writing, mail, fax, or e-mail within the posted date. Responses shall include: To what extent each of the specifications can be met.
