NOTICE: INTENT TO SOLICIT ONLY ONE SOURCE: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The name of the company the Government intends to award a contract to is Agilent Technologies, Inc., 5301 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95051 (UEID: D81FJJGL2KE4). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-07 dated 8/10/2022. For purposes of this acquisition, the associated NAICS code is 334516. The small business size standard is 1,000 EMPLOYEES. Contract Line Item (CLIN) Structure: The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): CLIN 0001: Quantity one (1) Cary 5000 UV-Vis-NIR Bundle manufactured by Agilent Technologies, Inc. to include installation and delivery to Adelphi Laboratory Center (ALC), FOB Destination Specifications/Requirement: The Contractor shall provide the following Agilent Technologies, Inc. manufactured item: Quantity one (1) Cary 5000 UV-Vis-NIR Bundle that shall meet the following requirements: Complete compatibility with Cary 6000i spectrophotometer Shall have wide wavelength of 175 – 3300 nanometers (nm) using a PbSmart Near Infrared (NIR) detector for extended photometric range Shall have four (4) gratings with resolution to 0.1 nm Shall have variable slit widths down to 0.01 nm for optimum control over data resolution Shall measure beyond 8.0 absorbance units with reference beam attenuation Delivery: Delivery is required by fourteen (14) weeks After Contract Award (ACA). Delivery shall be made to Adelphi Laboratory Center, Adelphi, MD 20783. Acceptance shall be performed at Adelphi Laboratory Center, Adelphi, MD 20783. The FOB point is Destination. Clauses: I.
