The Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Weapons and Materials Research Directorate (WMRD), Explosive Effects Branch (EEB) requires the purchase of one (1) JCB manufactured telescopic forklift handler (Model Number: 510-55TC) as a replacement to an existing JCB forklift handler in use at an ARL Explosive Testing facility located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). The current telescopic forklift handler is used to lift and move various experimental targets during underbody and explosive testing that supports WMRD EEB mission and customer programs. The current JCB machine is an aged unit that was procured by ARL over 16 years ago and has since failed in functionality, causing delays in explosive testing requirements.
