Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section 11B. Note that the specific requirements in section C are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation. B. Salient Characteristics: The Government requires the purchase of one (1) Photonic Doppler Velocimeter (PDV) Interferometer. The PDV Interferometer shall have the following features: Operate in homo/heterodyne mode- Shall be able to determine velocities from ten (10) meters (M) up to eight (8) kilometers (KM) per second. Receiver Ten (10) gigahertz (GHz) frequency or greater. Four (4) output channels. An external or internal power supply to allow the unit to be powered by 120 volts (v) alternating current (AC). System components (interferometer and splitters) shall be rack mountable. Dual or Two (2) 4x1 Optical Splitters (Face Centered/Angle Polished Connector (FC/APC) with a two (2) watt capacity. Operation shall have the option to be controlled by a Microsoft Windows Computer (not included) or by controls on unit or both. Dual or Two (2) 2x1 Optical Splitters (FC/APC) with a four (4) Watt (W) capacity. All components shall have FC/APC connectors. Include any software necessary to facilitate control of the operation of the unit.
