This modification is extending the closing date to 2/19/2019. Responses to this notice are due on or before 11:59 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 02/19/2019 The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) "Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized" based on gained unique knowledge and experience. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with VSE Corporation, 6348 Walker Lane, Alexandria, VA 22310-3226 for technical support, engineering, data management (DM), configuration management (CM), and quality control support for essential technical programs at the Intelligence, Sensors, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Technology Integration Branch of the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. The intended award is for the incorporation of three (3) option years for the required engineering services under existing task order W911QX-17-F-0007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
