This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items", as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. INTENT TO SOLICIT ONLY ONE SOURCE The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The name of the company the Government intends to award a contract to is Swabian Instruments GmnbH, Frankenstrasse 39, Schwieberdingen, Baden-Wurttemberg, 71701 (Germany). This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. (ii) The solicitation number is W911QX-19-Q-0216. This acquisition is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-05, dated 13 August, 2019. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Delivery shall be made to Adelphi Laboratory Center (ALC) 2800 Powder Mill Road, Building #102 Receiving Room Adelphi, Maryland 20783-1197 Acceptance shall be performed at ALC building #102.
