This is a sale of approximately 600,000 pounds of mixed steel turnings, to be sold "as is" by the pound from the Watervliet Arsenal. The successful bidder must pay the full sale price via pay.gov within five days of invoice and prior to removing the scrap from the site. The contractor is responsible for providing a covered roll-off dumpster and for all freight and shipping costs, with the government loading the material. The scrap must be removed during specified business hours from the Watervliet Arsenal location.
