This RFI/sources sought seeks capable sources to provide on-site radiographic testing (RT) of a large aluminum weldment (approximately 14x11x4 ft; weld joint thickness 1.5–2.0 in., more in some locations) at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD). The contractor must bring all required equipment and be able to travel to LEAD within 24 hours’ notice, with film, computed, or digital radiography permitted and real-time results often needed while production/welding is on hold. Current production outlook is 18 cabs/units: 3 require 100% RT (~230 shots per cab) under print 12940852 E Redline, while 15 require ~37 shots per cab as written, with sampling/rework provisions possibly requiring additional shots. The overall project is expected to span late 2026 through 2031, with workloads that may vary from daily needs to months-long gaps. Drawings are export-controlled Distribution D, so authorized vendors need a current DD Form 2345 on file with DLIS, a recent acceptable NIST rating, current DoW contracts, and SAM registration; responses should provide a capabilities statement for NAICS 541380 (Testing Laboratories and Services).
