The Army Contracting Command – Letterkenny Contracting Office (CCAM-DSL) is issuing this Sources Sought/Request for Information as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this firm-fixed price requirement for Major, Moderate, and Minor Repair of Gas Turbine Engines, NSN 2835-01-180-0452, Models 3800232-1-1, 3800232-1-2, 3800232-1-3, and 3800232-1-4, for the Aviation Ground Power Unit (AGPU), MEP 83-360E unit located at Letterkenny Army Depot. Details on the type of repair is listed below. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310 - Commercial and Industry Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, product support code J028 – Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment- Engines, Turbines, and Components, size standard $12.5 million. Types of Repairs: Minor repair: Provide all labor, materials, parts, tools, services, facilities and equipment to perform minor repairs on gas turbine engines, NSN 2835-01-180-0452, Models 3800232-1-1, 3800232-1-2, 3800232-1-3, and 3800232-1-4, in accordance with the performance work statement. (situations where the engine can be repaired without separating the flanges; such as requiring a Lowest Replaceable Unit (LRU) repair, including Starter, Electrical Cable, or minor surface defects that can be repaired such as the pads or repair of the Inlet Upper or Lower Duct.) Moderate repair: Provide all labor, materials, parts, tools, services, facilities and equipment to perform intermediate repairs on gas turbine engines, NSN 2835-01-180-0452, Models 3800232-1-1, 3800232-1-2, 3800232-1-3, and 3800232-1-4, in accordance with the performance work statement. (situations where the engine can be repaired with the split of flange, power section and gearbox, with full dismantle of either the power-section or gearbox, but not both. May inspect and repair to bring APU to serviceable condition, will not replace 100% of bearings with new, may inspect and re-install serviceable bearings.) Major repair: Provide all labor, materials, parts, tools, services, facilities and equipment to perform major repairs on gas turbine engines, NSN 2835-01-180-0452, Models 3800232-1-1, 3800232-1-2, 3800232-1-3, and 3800232-1-4, in accordance with the performance work statement (the engine Major Repair shall be in accordance with DMWR 1-2835-213&P/OEM requirements and any additional items listed in the PWS.)
