NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Munitions Command intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Priced Requirements type Service contract for Rail Maintenance Service to AMTRAC Contractors of Maryland, 9436 Early Drive, Hagerstown MD, 21740-1737, Cage Code 0JT67. The period of performance of this contract will include three months. The place of performance is Letterkenny Munitions Center, Chambersburg, PA 17201-4150. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is implemented in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), “Soliciting from a single source”. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis. Solicitation number W911N224R0016 will be released on or about 29 March 2024, with a closing date on or about 05 April 2024. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://www.sam.gov on or about 29 March 2024. All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
