NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, Hybrid, firm-fixed price, time-and-materials, cost-plus fixed-fee, requirements, service contract to recap... NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, Hybrid, firm-fixed price, time-and-materials, cost-plus fixed-fee, requirements, service contract to recapitalize and repair, to a “like-new” condition, of Switch Multiplexer Units (SMUs), SMU Power Supplies, and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) utilized in the Patriot Missile System to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), 400 John Quincy Adams Road, Tauton, MA 02780, CAGE Code 67032. The period of performance of this contract will include one base year and three (3) option years. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer GDMS. This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot. The 2017 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 811213 – Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance; the size standard is $12 million; and the Product Service Code (PSC) is J058 – Maintenance and Repair of Communication, Detection and Coherent Radiation Equipment. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. Solicitation number W911N220R0015 will be released on or about 23 March 2020, with a closing date on or about 22 April 2020. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
