NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD BRAND NAME: Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a brand name procurement for supplying contract for RF Cables. Only companies that are authorized to sell this items can submit a proposal under this announcement. This contract is a Requirements contract that is firm-fixed priced with a base year and four option years. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer Raytheon. This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 335931, the size standard is 500 and the product code/ service code is 3694. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 13.5. Solicitation number W911N2-20-R-0010 will be released on or about 27 February 2020, with a closing date on or about 4 March 2020. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://www.beta.sam.gov or about 26 March 2020. All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. It is noted that offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database to receive a Government contract award. Offerors may register for SAM at: https://www.beta.sam.gov.
