NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price requirements supply contract for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) parts in support of the HIMARS Overhaul Program located at Letterkenny Army Depot to Lockheed Martin Corporation (dba Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control), 1701 West Marshall Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75051-2704, CAGE Code 64059. The period of performance of this contract will include one base year and four, one (1) year option years. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer Lockheed Martin Corporation (dba Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control). This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot. The 2017 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 336415 - Guided Missile and Space Vehicle Propulsion Unit and Propulsion Unit Parts Manufacturing; the size standard is 1,250 employees; and the product code is 1420 - Guided Missile Components. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements". Solicitation number W911N219R0006 will be released on or about 9 January 2019 with a closing date on or about 8 February 2019. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://www.fbo.gov on or about 9 January 2019. All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
