NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed supply contract for one Vibratory Feed Automatic Terminal Crimping Machine to Tri-Star Technologies, Inc., 1111 E El Segundo Blvd, El Segundo, CA 90245-4202, CAGE Code: 4JN88. The contract will be a one-time procurement. This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot. The 2022 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 333517 – Machine Tool Manufacturing, the size standard is 500 employees, and the product code is 3419 – Combination and Miscellaneous Instruments. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 13.5. Solicitation number W911N2-24-Q-0029 will be released on or about 13 MAR 2024, with - a closing date on or about 20 MAR 2024. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. All interested sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://www.sam.gov on or about 13 MAR 2024. It is noted that offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database to receive a Government contract award. Offerors may register for SAM at: https://www.sam.gov.
