This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - RSA LEAD, Pennsylvania 17201 on behalf of Letterkenny Munitions Directorate (LEMC), intends to award a contract on a sole source basis. This action is in accordance with the Use of Procedures Other Than Competitive Procedures in Title 41 U.S.C. § 1901(a)(1), implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), “Prepare sole source (including brand name) justifications using the format at 6.303-2, modified to reflect that the procedures in FAR subpart 13.5 were used in accordance with Title 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) § 1901”.
