SYNOPSIS (Sole Source) NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price Requirements service contract for calibration, certification, repair parts and repair services of FARO equipment to FARO Technologies, 250 Technology Park, Lake Mary, Florida, Cage Code 0VGY2. The period of performance of this contract will include one base year and four (4) one year options periods. This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot. The 2017 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment repair and maintenance the size standard is 8M and the product code/ service code is J052. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 13.5. Solicitation number W911N2-22-Q-0025 will be released on or about 03 March 2022, with a closing date on or about 28 March 2022. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://www.fbo.gov on or about 03 March 2022. All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. It is noted that offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database to receive a Government contract award. Offerors may register for SAM at: https://www.sam.gov.
