NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, Firm Fixed Price, (FFP) Service contract for Preventative maintenance and training for LEAD maintenance techs on Gantry Truck Wash, Rain Test, and Pressure Wash Recirculation Systems to Whiting Systems, Inc., 9000 Highway 5 N, Alexander, AR 72002 USA (Cage Code: 051n8). The contract will be a one-time procurement. The period of performance of this contract will include one (1) base year and four (4) options years. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) for this requirement. The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer (Whiting Systems). This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot. The 2012 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 333318, Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, the size standard is 1000 Personnel and the service code is J036. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 13.5 (2). Solicitation number W911N2-21-Q-0037 will be released on or about 22 June 2021, with a closing date on or about 28 June 2021. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://www.fbo.gov on or about 22 June 2021. All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
