Security Barriers and Planters (See Purchase Description attachment for paragraph details) GENERAL REQUIREMENT: This document contains the essential performance requirements for delivery of security barriers and planters for placement throughout the Depot. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: The security barriers provided under this specification must meet the requirements listed for the Smooth Security Barriers in Paragraph 2.1, the 2-Sided Brick Face Security Barriers in Paragraph 2.2 and the Planters in paragraph 2.3. SMOOTH SECURITY BARRIERS: Smooth security barriers shall feature all of the characteristics listed below in paragraphs 2.1.1 through 2.1.3. CONTSRUCTION: Smooth security barriers shall be made of high strength, steel reinforced 5,000-psi minimum concrete, weighing approximately 4,100 pounds each and have and an etched finish SIZE: Overall size shall meet the specifications on technical exhibit 1 COLOR: Barrier color shall be a tan color and match the same color as the 2-sided brick face security barriers listed in paragraph 2.2 and the planters listed in paragraph 2.3. 2-SIDED BRICK FACE SECURITY BARRIERS: 2-Sided Brick Face Security Barriers shall feature all of the characteristics listed below in paragraphs 2.2.1 through 2.2.3. CONTSRUCTION: 2-sided brick face security barriers shall be made of high strength, steel reinforced 5,000-psi minimum concrete with a brick inlay in the center portion on both sides, weighing approximately 4,100 pounds each and have and an etched finish SIZE: Overall size shall meet the specifications on technical exhibit 1. COLOR: Barrier color shall be a tan color and match the same color as the smooth security barriers listed in paragraph 2.1 and the planters listed in paragraph 2.3. The brick inlay shall be red in color. PLANTERS: The planters shall feature all of the characteristics listed below in paragraphs 2.3.1 through 2.3.3. CONTSRUCTION: Planters shall be made of high strength, steel reinforced 5,000-psi minimum concrete, weighing approximately 720 pounds each and have and an etched finish. The wave on the front side of the planter shall be left side or right side optional and this requirement will be requested as separate line items. SIZE: Overall size shall meet the specifications on technical exhibit 2. COLOR: Barrier color shall be a tan color and match the same color as the smooth security barriers listed in paragraph 2.1 and the 2-sided brick face security barriers listed in paragraph 2.2
