NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price contract for 400 each Run Flats:VF-0633 VFI, G 185, MOLDED, 20X10, 14.00R20, to Hutchinson Industries, Inc., 460 Southard St Trenton, NJ, 08638-4224; Cage Code: 62161. The period of performance of this contract will be one 12 month base year. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer (Hutchinson Industries, Inc.). All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. The authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is FAR 13.106(b)(1), “Soliciting from a single source”. The 2017 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 326211 – TIRE Manufacturing (except retreading), the size standard is 1,500 Employees and the product code is 2640 – Tire rebuilding & tire and tube repair materials. This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA 17201-4150. The place of performance is Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA 17201-4150. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis, solicitation W911N2-20-R-0007 will be released 06 February 2020 and close O/A 20 February 2020. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. All interested sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency.
