Posting of RFP W911N2-19-R-0009. Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a Hybrid Firm Fixed Price contract; with Time and Material line items for Preventative Maintenance (PM-Testing) and Repair Services for Letterkenny Munitions Center's (LEMC) for Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, quality control and other items, necessary to perform on site preventative maintenance and all repairs for LEMC's Material Handling Equipment (MHE). These services are required in support of their mission programs throughout LEMC's full installation. The machines, primarily forklifts in multiple sizes, capacities, and type, move, relocate, store, mission requirements in support of program transport to and from LEMC. Few of the approximant eighty-seven (87) MHE units are currently under warranty for Preventative Maintenance; parts or repairs. Further, although these units currently are not demonstrating any defects, or warranty issue and are currently fully operational, breakdowns on any of the unit's will compromise their availability to support LEMC's primary mission. A Performance Work Statement (PWS) (draft PWS is attached). A Performance Work Statement will be provided with the solicitation. The period of performance of this contract will include one base year and two, (2) options years. The procurement is currently unrestricted. The 2017 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310, the size standard is 7.5 million dollars and the service code is JO38; the NAICS description is Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. This will be Freight On Board, (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot. Solicitation number W911N2-19-R-0009 will be released on or about 18 JUL 2019, with a closing date on or about 01 AUG 2019. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. All interested sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency.
