This requirement is for a contractor to provide nonpersonal services to the Anniston Army Depot. The services shall include on-site preventative maintenance and calibration, emergency repair service, and replacement parts necessary to maintain performance and operational readiness to government owned Strippit IMPULS 65-30 Laser Cutting Machine Serial Number: 32384 and the Strippit IMPULS 60-20 Laser Cutting Machine Serial Number: 34957, and to include Strippit laser cutting equipment to be installed in the future. The on-site preventive maintenance and emergency repair support coverage shall be for a one-year base period beginning at contract award, plus four one-year options. The contractor shall provide on-site preventive maintenance and emergency repair services including all labor, equipment, special tools, materials, documentation, transportation, schematics, common tools of the trade, and any other items necessary to provide the required support. The contractor shall provide trained personnel with the necessary expertise to perform all required technical support and on-site preventive and emergency corrective maintenance services on the Strippit Laser Machines. This acquisition is sole sourced to Strippit Inc. 12975 Clarence Ctr Rd, Akron, NY, 14001-9902. Any organization which believes itself to be in possession of these capabilities can provide written evidence to this effect to the Contract Specialist, and may be considered for future procurements. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 811310 and the associated size standard is $7,500,000.00. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://www.fbo.gov. Estimated issue date is 7 January 2019. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
