This requirement is for the refurbishment of Paladin Gun Mount Ballistic Shield (GMBS) using the recently established repair procedures. The M109A6 Paladin Self-Propelled Howitzer is currently being overhauled at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama. The current GMBS are failing due to corrosion problems between the ballistic steel and the fiberglass bonded to it. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, parts, equipment, and transportation to and from ANAD, necessary to restore the GMBS to “new” condition and compete the tasks listed, unless otherwise specified.
